In December of 2021, 58 awardees were provided various scholarships to attend Mudhiero Secondary. Some of the Sam & Hannah Obura Foundation awardees were provided scholarships that partially fund their schooling, while others were given larger scholarships that fully fund their entire year of school. The awards are given annually and are gifted to applicants at a ceremony facilitated near the school.
